A cat who simply stopped using the box

Tiny Paws is a sole proprietorship based in Hyderabad, Telangana, operating online as Pelora Forum (peloraforum.shop).

How this started

Two years ago a perfectly well-behaved cat in Hyderabad stopped using her box. The vet found nothing wrong. What had changed was the litter — a switch made overnight to a scented, coarser grain because the usual one was out of stock.

Going back solved it in a day. Nobody had mentioned that cats reject litter on texture and smell, that the change has to be gradual, or that ‘low dust’ on a bag means nothing in particular. That gap between what the bag says and what the cat does is the shop.

The cat decides whether a litter works. The label has no vote.

Our commitment

Dust and clumping as observed

We state what we actually saw when the bag was poured and the clump lifted, not the adjective on the front.

Grain size described

Fine, medium or coarse, because that is the property a cat notices first and the one no listing ever gives.

Told how to switch

Every litter page repeats the gradual-changeover advice, even though a faster switch would sell more bags.

Our story

The range is deliberately narrow — a few litters that cover fine and coarse, clumping and non-clumping, scented and unscented — because giving somebody forty options when their cat has stopped using the box is not help.

We also say the unprofitable thing: most litter-box refusals are not about the litter at all. A box too small, a hood the cat dislikes, or a location next to a washing machine will do it, and none of those are solved by buying another bag.

Online only

There is no showroom and no walk-in counter. Pelora Forum trades entirely online and ships across India from Hyderabad, Telangana, which keeps overheads off the price of the goods.
