Litter Box Habits Are a Health Signal

A cat that suddenly stops using its box is telling you something, and it is rarely about the box.

Sudden change matters

Straining, frequent small visits, or urinating outside the tray can indicate a urinary problem. In male cats a blockage is an emergency.

Rule out the simple things too

A moved box, a new litter, a dirty tray or a household change will all do it. Change one variable at a time.

When to call a vet

Any straining, any blood, or more than a day of avoidance. Nothing sold in this shop substitutes for that call.
